PNG·JPEG·WEBP: 투명도와 용량 비교하기
확장자만 바꾸지 말고 사진인지, 글자·로고인지, 투명 배경이 필요한지부터 정하세요. 이 도구는 PNG·JPEG·WEBP·BMP를 출력하며, 입력 이미지를 브라우저에서 그린 뒤 다시 인코딩합니다.
형식과 이 도구의 동작
PNG는 무손실이며 투명도를 보존합니다. JPEG는 손실 압축이고 투명한 부분을 흰색으로 채웁니다. WEBP는 규격상 손실·무손실을 지원하지만 여기서는 품질값을 사용하는 손실 출력입니다. BMP 출력도 투명도를 흰색으로 채우며 용량이 커질 수 있습니다. SVG 입력을 PNG 등으로 저장하면 벡터가 아닌 픽셀 이미지가 됩니다.
같은 원본으로 비교하는 순서
샘플 도형 또는 자신의 이미지를 불러오고 크기 조절·배경 제거를 끕니다. PNG를 저장한 뒤 같은 원본에서 JPEG·WEBP 표준 85%를 각각 만듭니다. 다운로드 용량과 100% 확대 상태의 글자 테두리·그라데이션·반투명 부분을 비교하세요. 설정의 85%는 인코더에 전달하는 값이며 원본 화질의 85%가 남는다는 뜻은 아닙니다. 형식이 다르면 같은 품질 숫자도 동등한 화질을 의미하지 않습니다.
배경 제거가 잘되는 경우와 실패하는 경우
흰 배경에 놓인 단색 로고처럼 가장자리 배경색이 일정할 때 먼저 사용해 보세요. 이 도구는 가장자리와 연결된 비슷한 색을 지우므로, 피사체가 배경과 같은 색이거나 사진 배경이 복잡하면 원하는 부분까지 사라질 수 있습니다. 감도를 낮춘 뒤 미리보기 배경색을 바꿔 경계를 확인하세요. 사람·머리카락을 인식하는 AI 분리 기능은 아닙니다.
움직임·메타데이터·용량의 한계
움직이는 GIF를 입력해도 애니메이션 전체를 변환하지 않습니다. 브라우저가 그린 한 프레임이 정지 이미지로 저장됩니다. EXIF·ICC 등 메타데이터가 원본 그대로 유지된다고 보장하지 않으므로 사진 보관용 원본은 남겨 두세요. WEBP가 항상 더 작지는 않습니다. Google의 WEBP 비교 수치는 특정 압축 방식과 비교 조건의 결과이며, 이 도구의 개별 파일에 적용되는 보장값이 아닙니다.

2026-09-08 Windows Chromium 환경에서 이 도구의 1600×1200 도형 샘플을 크기 변경·배경 제거 없이 시험했습니다. JPEG·WEBP는 표준 85%입니다. 아래는 용량 측정 예시이며 같은 화질이라는 뜻은 아닙니다. 브라우저·글꼴·원본에 따라 달라집니다.

Compare PNG, JPEG and WEBP
Choose based on the image: photo, text, logo or transparent artwork. This tool exports PNG, JPEG, WEBP and BMP by decoding and redrawing the input in your browser.
Formats in this tool
PNG is lossless and keeps transparency. JPEG is lossy and transparent areas become white. WEBP supports both modes as a format, but this tool uses lossy quality settings. BMP also flattens transparency to white and can be large. Exporting SVG to these formats produces pixels, not vectors.
Compare one source fairly
Load the geometric sample or your own image and disable resizing and background removal. Save PNG, then encode JPEG and WEBP at Standard 85% from the same original. Compare file sizes and inspect text, gradients and translucent edges at 100%. “85%” is an encoder setting, not a promise to retain 85% of the source quality; it is not equivalent across formats.
When background removal works
Try a solid logo on a uniform white background. The tool removes similar colours connected to the image edge. A subject matching the background or a complex photo may lose wanted pixels. Reduce tolerance and change the preview background to inspect edges. This is not AI person or hair segmentation.
Animation, metadata and size
Animated GIF input is not converted as a full animation: one browser-rendered frame becomes a still image. EXIF, ICC and other metadata are not guaranteed to survive unchanged, so keep your archival original. WEBP is not always smaller. Published Google comparisons depend on compression mode and test conditions and are not guarantees for this converter.

形式とツールの動作
PNGは可逆圧縮で透過を保持します。JPEGは非可逆圧縮で透明部分を白く塗ります。WEBP規格は両方式に対応しますが本ツールは品質値による非可逆出力です。BMPも透明部分を白くし、容量が大きくなる場合があります。SVGを変換するとベクターではなくピクセル画像になります。
同じ原本で比較する
サンプル図形または原本を読み込み、リサイズと背景除去をオフにします。PNGを保存し、同じ原本からJPEG・WEBPを標準85%で作ります。容量と100%表示の文字・グラデーション・半透明の境界を比較します。85%はエンコーダの設定値で、元の画質が85%残る意味ではありません。形式間で同じ値も同等の画質にはなりません。
背景除去が得意な画像
白一色の背景に単色ロゴがある画像などで試してください。画像の縁につながる似た色を除去するため、被写体が背景と同色だったり背景が複雑だったりすると必要な部分も消えます。感度を下げ、プレビュー背景色を変えて境界を確認します。人物や髪を認識するAIではありません。
アニメーション・メタデータ・容量
GIF入力でもアニメーション全体は変換せず、ブラウザが描いた1フレームを静止画にします。EXIF・ICCなどをそのまま保持する保証はないため、保管用原本は残します。WEBPが必ず小さいわけではありません。Googleの比較値は圧縮方式と試験条件によるもので、このツールの保証値ではありません。

Compara PNG, JPEG y WEBP
Elige según el contenido: fotografía, texto, logotipo o transparencia. Esta herramienta decodifica y vuelve a dibujar la imagen en el navegador para exportar PNG, JPEG, WEBP o BMP.
Formatos y funcionamiento
PNG conserva los píxeles y la transparencia. JPEG usa pérdida y rellena las zonas transparentes de blanco. WEBP admite ambos modos, pero aquí se usa salida con pérdida. BMP también aplana la transparencia sobre blanco y puede ser grande. Convertir SVG a estos formatos produce píxeles, no vectores.
Compara el mismo original
Carga la muestra geométrica o tu imagen y desactiva el cambio de tamaño y la eliminación de fondo. Guarda PNG y luego JPEG y WEBP al 85% desde el mismo original. Compara tamaños y revisa texto, degradados y bordes al 100%. El 85% es un ajuste del codificador, no una promesa de conservar ese porcentaje de calidad, ni equivale entre formatos.
Cuándo funciona la eliminación de fondo
Prueba con un logotipo sobre fondo blanco uniforme. La herramienta borra colores similares conectados al borde. Un sujeto del mismo color que el fondo o una foto compleja puede perder píxeles útiles. Reduce la tolerancia y cambia el fondo de vista previa para revisar los bordes. No es segmentación de personas o pelo mediante IA.
Animación, metadatos y tamaño
Un GIF animado no se convierte como animación completa: un fotograma dibujado por el navegador se guarda como imagen fija. No se garantiza conservar EXIF, ICC u otros metadatos sin cambios; guarda el original. WEBP no siempre es menor. Las comparaciones publicadas por Google dependen del modo y las condiciones y no garantizan el resultado de este conversor.

Medido el 2026-09-08 en Chromium para Windows, muestra geométrica de 1600×1200 sin redimensionar ni borrar fondo, JPEG/WEBP al 85%. No demuestra calidad equivalente; navegador, fuente y original afectan al resultado.
